Wild Bergamot plant, Monarda fistulosa, has fragrant light purple flowers that bloom in the summer, attracting bee and butterfly visitors. They can get upwards of 5 feet or higher and will easily spread but not to the point of being invasive, making it a good fit for garden beds. Bee Balm prefer full sun and can tolerate pretty much any soil but it needs to drain as they don't like wet soil and can be brought inside for an indoor plant. I would say Bergamot is the plant we see the most bees on at least in our area and we are in Southeast Missouri where there are plenty of herbs.

Our live, organic starter plugs are seedlings for a wildflower pollinator garden. Bergamot is also a medicinal herb.

Perennial in Zones 3 - 9.

We don't ship plants past Tuesday so they don't sit over the weekend in the
mail. We offer a UPS upgrade if you would prefer rather than using the Post Office.
