When Your Plants Arrive
When Your Plants Arrive
Your plants have just made a bit of a journey—here’s how to help them settle in and thrive.
Unpack Promptly
Open your package as soon as possible. Plants have been in a dark box and need light and air.
Expect Some Stress
It’s normal for plants to look a little tired after shipping. Slight wilting or yellowing can happen and usually resolves quickly.
Give Them Light, Not Sun
Place your plants in bright, indirect light for the first 24–48 hours. Avoid direct sun right away.
Water Gently if Needed
Check the soil. If it feels dry, give a light watering. If it’s still moist, let them rest before watering again.
Trim if Necessary
If any leaves are damaged or broken, you can trim them off. This helps the plant redirect energy into new growth.
Let Them Adjust
Give your plants a couple of days to recover before transplanting or making major changes.
Watch for New Growth
Once you see new growth, your plant has settled in and is ready to continue growing.
