Bring cheerful color and classic charm to your garden with St. John's Wort. St. John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum) is a hardy perennial herb that produces clusters of bright yellow blooms throughout the summer. Its sunny flowers and attractive green foliage make it a standout in borders, containers, and herb gardens. Also called St Johns Wort, this live plant can grow in an organic garden and makes a thoughtful choice for gifts for her. For an indoor start, place the pot in a sunny spot before planting it outside.

This resilient plant thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, while its blooms attract bees, butterflies, and other beneficial pollinators. Each yellow bloom has star shaped petals, and the plant is often grown with medicinal herbs. Easy to grow and low maintenance, St. John's Wort is a great choice for both new and experienced gardeners and is hardy in Zones 3-9.

We don't ship plants past Tuesday so they don't sit over the weekend in the mail. We offer a UPS upgrade if you would prefer rather than using the Post Office.

Always consult with a qualified healthcare practitioner before using herbal products, particularly if you are pregnant, nursing, or on any medications. We are happy to work with customers if your plants arrive in bad shape as we want a good end result for both of us. We pack and send healthy plants that sometimes do not travel well or get bounced around.
