Echinacea (Purple Coneflower) is a lovely hardy perennial,
growing larger each year and taking easily to
division. This plant is relatively trouble-free, with sturdy
stems and leaves that withstand high winds and driving rain.
Echinacea is attractive to wildlife, its seeds being a
favorite of finches and other birds. The lovely flowers attract
hummingbirds and butterflies, making this plant an easy queen of any garden.
